Why is my colored wax melt speckled with white?

Ever wonder why our colored feature shimmer melts can look so odd with the white speckled appearance?

It’s not the mica powder. It’s not an added chemical.

It’s FROSTING! But no, not that kind of frosting. Ha!

Frosting is a characteristic known to happen to pure soy wax products. It’s letting you know there’s nothing like paraffin wax in here, just soy.

Will your wax melt have white speckles in it while it melts in a warmer? Nope! But when it cures again, like evidenced in the warmer dish with blue wax, it will appear again.

Frosting has zero impact on the functionality of the product.

Enjoy those fun shapes and glittery mica powder colors!
